South Island Plastics Manufacturing Plant Ramps Up A Notch

After months of planning and engineering work at Promax Plastics' South Island Factory located centrally in Rangiora can now produce the full range of 1.9m diameter polyethylene underground tanks for potable water, storm water and waste storage in sizes from 10,000 litres to 30,000 litres.

Among the current orders being completed and shipped out is one for a project that requires a large balance tank with a range of connecting spigots that are fitted ex factory by our qualified modification team.

These large diameter underground tanks are providing solutions for business and property developers that have not previously been readily available and a full "Uplift Restraint System" can be ordered for installations into sites with a high water table.

Promax Plastics produce over 25 different underground tanks in various capacities from 1000 litres to 30,000 litres including 750mm, 900mm, 1280mm and 1900mm diameters which can be all fitted with standard inlet/outlets or welded fittings as shown above. The spigot range covers all standard sizes from 65mm up to 300mm in either straight pipe entries or Table Type E Flanges with backing rings.
